Sales Engineer - Rubber Mouldings

Synopsis

A manufacturer and supplier of rubber mouldings is looking for a commercially driven Sales Engineer to grow its customer base across engineering, manufacturing and industrial markets. The role combines new-business development, technical interpretation, quotation preparation and ongoing customer account management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers across targeted industries.
• Generate leads and follow up on potential opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits, meetings and technical presentations.
• Serve as a primary contact for customer sales enquiries.
• Prepare accurate quotations and commercial proposals.
• Review drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Follow up on quotations and tenders submitted.
• Prepare and execute sales strategies aligned with growth targets.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• Three to five years of sales experience in engineering, manufacturing or industrial markets.
• Experience in the rubber or metal sector is advantageous.
• Proven record of achieving sales targets.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
• Strong customer-management, quotation and business-development capability.
