Sales Consultant - Kramerville

Role Overview

A leading supplier of fabrics, rugs, wallpaper, and homeware is seeking a full-time Sales Consultant for its Kramerville showroom in Johannesburg. The role services an East Rand client list and combines showroom representation, customer relationships, new business, and merchandise sales.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales targets by visiting customers according to the contact plan and selling merchandise.
• Develop new business by identifying sales opportunities and new markets.
• Build productive customer relationships and provide excellent customer and after-sales service.
• Present products and concepts professionally and maintain strong telephone, written, and spoken communication.
• Plan activities, prioritise customer work, take initiative, and follow through under pressure.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate.
• Sales or marketing certificate or diploma is advantageous.
• At least two years' sales experience, preferably in retail or wholesale.
• Interior-design environment exposure is advantageous.
• Computer literacy and own reliable vehicle.
• Assertive, determined, decisive, organised, creative, innovative, and able to build and maintain customer relationships.
