Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine is hiring a Safety Officer Mining (UG) in Located within the Limpopo and North West Provinces of South Africa with our Head Office based in. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused mining team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Safety Officer Mining (UG).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.
Maintain a professional standard of delivery, communication and follow-through.
Spot risks early and escalate practical issues before they become blockers.

Requirements

5 years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
