Platistone Holdings needs a Safety Officer who can step into a practical role in Mokopane. A key part of the work involves Safety Officer National Diploma or Certificate in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a mining and quarrying envi.

Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Safety Officer.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.
Maintain a professional standard of delivery, communication and follow-through.
Spot risks early and escalate practical issues before they become blockers.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
