Retail Sales Assistant

Synopsis

We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to help customers find products, provide excellent service and support daily store operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and an interest in sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Welcome customers and assist with product enquiries.
2. Recommend products based on customer needs.
3. Process sales, payments and returns.
4. Maintain attractive product displays and store presentation.
5. Restock shelves and monitor inventory levels.
6. Keep the store clean, organised and well-stocked.
7. Assist with promotions and sales targets.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

1. A matric certificate or equivalent.
2. Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous.
3. Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A friendly, reliable and professional attitude.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
