Process customer purchases accurately using a POS system and ensure correct payment handling.
Assist customers with queries, returns, and exchanges in line with store policy.
Balance the cash-up process and report any variances to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organised checkout area, including queue control and signage.
Promote loyalty programmes, promotions, and add-on items at the point of sale.
Escalate customer concerns professionally and ensure resolutions are documented.
Support basic shelf tidying near tills during quiet periods.

Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
6–24 months cashier or customer service experience is advantageous.
Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Basic numeracy and strong attention to detail.
Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Ability to stand for long periods and work under pressure.
