Role Overview

Futurelink Global Recruitment needs a RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LEAD [MANUFACTURING] who can step into a practical role in Pinetown. A key part of the work involves RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LEAD [MANUFACTURING] The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing and at least 2+ years as a product developer or R&D Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Ideally 5–10 years' FMCG food manufacturing experience for senior / lead roles.
Keep momentum on contract manufacturing / third-party packing (advantageous).
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LEAD [MANUFACTURING].
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
