Repair Maintenance Technician - Paarl

Do you have experience in plumbing, electrical repairs and welding, with the ability to lead and manage a small maintenance team?

Our client in Paarl is looking for a reliable all-rounder who can take ownership of general maintenance and repair work, ensuring equipment, facilities and infrastructure remain in excellent working condition.

Work hours:  07:00 - 17:30, with availability after hours.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/experience in plumbing, welding and/or auto electrics
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience
• Up to date with health and safety regulations
• Administration and planning qualities
• Good health and physical ability to perform manual labour

DUTIES 

• Oversee and coordinate the repair, maintenance and installation of equipment, vehicles and facilities
• Ensure all technical work is carried out efficiently, safely and in line with company standards and regulations
• Provide hands-on leadership and planning across welding, auto-electrical and plumbing functions
• Safeguard equipment reliability, staff safety and operational uptime
• Coordinate personnel, resources and technical processes to ensure smooth operations
