Regulatory Reporting Analyst

A reputable organisation within the banking sector is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and analysing regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory requirements. This role will involve providing feedback and insights to relevant stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyse regulatory reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Review reporting data, identify discrepancies, and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate and timely regulatory reporting submissions
  • Analyse trends, risks, and reporting outcomes to support informed decision-making
  • Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives relating to regulatory reporting processes

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field
  • Previous experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, risk, financial reporting, or data analysis within the banking or financial services environment advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills advantageous
