Regional Retail Manager
Our client is appointing a Regional Retail Manager to oversee multiple stores and drive performance across a defined territory. This role is ideal for a commercially strong leader who can balance people development with disciplined operational execution. - Lead regional store performance against sales targets, profitability, and service metrics.
- Coach and develop Store Managers through structured reviews, training, and performance plans.
- Ensure consistent execution of merchandising, pricing, and promotional campaigns across stores.
- Monitor shrink, compliance, and audit readiness, implementing corrective action where needed.
- Review store reports, identify performance gaps, and implement practical turnaround plans.
- Support staffing planning, succession, and talent development across the region.
- Conduct regular store visits and ensure standards are maintained consistently.
- Relevant qualification in Retail/Business/Management is advantageous.
- 8–15 years retail experience with multi-store management exposure.
- Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to improve performance.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of shrink control, compliance, and operational governance.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
