Regional Operations Supervisor/Manager
Our client, an FMCG logistics and distribution , seeks to employ a Regional Operations Supervisor to join this progressive and expanding professional FMCG distribution and logistics team.
Please note this role requires a candidate who has worked in operations for the FMCG to retail supply and distribution sector.

Please note this role requires a candidate who has worked in operations for the FMCG to retail supply and distribution sector.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- A proven track record in regional operations, warehouse management and FMCG logistics and distribution.
- You will display expertise in managing multiple operational sites, warehouse operations and distribution activities, as well as proven experience in managing operational KPIs, productivity, service levels and financial objectives.
- You will have strong experience in stock management, inventory control and minimising shrinkage and stock losses, as well as in driving continuous improvement and implementing operational policies, procedures and SOPs.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and maintaining high levels of customer service.
- You will have experience in managing, developing and leading large operational teams, including performance, training and disciplinary processes.
- A sound understanding of health and safety, operational compliance and the Labour Relations Act.
- You will have strong planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You will be results-driven, deadline-oriented, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a high-pressure operational environment.
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
