Regional Aftersales Manager
Role Overview
Act as the link between an automotive manufacturer and its regional dealer network, ensuring aftersales operations meet standards and that service, parts, warranty and customer-experience performance support dealer growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dealer visits and audits covering service, parts, workshops, tools, facilities and customer experience.
- Identify compliance gaps, agree corrective plans and track close-out.
- Support new-dealer onboarding and aftersales infrastructure readiness.
- Investigate escalated complaints, track turnaround against SLA targets and reduce repeat issues.
- Monitor service uptake, parts sales, warranty ratios, customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
- Coach dealer service and parts teams and support operational, technical and process issues.
- Review warranty claims and liaise on disputed or complex cases.
- Escalate recurring technical or quality matters for investigation.
- Report dealer performance, complaint trends, compliance and market observations.
- Support dealer-network expansion and rollout of products, campaigns and service programmes.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Business Management, Automotive Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Automotive trade qualification is advantageous.
- Five to eight years in a dealership or manufacturer environment, including at least three years in aftersales, service, parts or regional support.
- Dealer-network management, complaint resolution and warranty-administration experience.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dealer-management systems.
- Strong automotive knowledge, analysis, coaching, influencing, reporting and relationship-building skills.
