About the Role

We are looking for a driven and people-focused Recruiter to join our Cape Town team.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ recruitment experience who enjoys sourcing talent, speaking to candidates, managing hiring processes and helping match the right people to the right opportunities.

The successful candidate will support the full recruitment cycle, from advertising vacancies and sourcing candidates through to screening, interview coordination, candidate communication and placement support.


Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Sourcing suitable candidates through job boards, databases, referrals and social media
  • Advertising vacancies across relevant recruitment platforms
  • Screening CVs and shortlisting candidates according to role requirements
  • Conducting candidate interviews and qualification checks
  • Managing candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
  • Preparing candidate profiles and summaries for client or internal review
  • Coordinating interviews and following up on feedback
  • Maintaining accurate candidate records on recruitment systems
  • Building strong candidate relationships and maintaining regular contact
  • Supporting clients or internal hiring managers with recruitment updates
  • Managing multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines at the same time
  • Meeting recruitment activity targets and placement goals
  • Supporting onboarding and placement administration where required


Minimum Requirements


To be considered for this role, candidates should have:


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment, staffing or talent acquisition
  • Experience sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organisational and time-management ability
  • Confidence speaking to candidates and clients or hiring managers
  • Computer literacy and experience using recruitment systems, job boards or CRM tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Resilient, proactive and professional working style


Preferred Experience


Preference will be given to candidates with:


  • Recruitment agency experience
  • Experience working with job boards, LinkedIn and CV databases
  • Experience managing candidate pipelines across multiple roles
  • Exposure to client communication or account management
  • Knowledge of recruitment administration and compliance processes
