Receptionist
Introduction
An established professional services company based in Cape Town is seeking a Receptionist to manage its busy front desk and provide administrative support to internal teams. The role sits at the centre of the organisation’s daily operations and ensures that visitors, clients, and suppliers receive a professional and welcoming experience from the moment they enter the office.
You will work closely with office administrators, management, and operational staff to coordinate communication, visitor access, and meeting logistics. This position is well suited to someone who is organised, personable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a professional office environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee front-desk operations and provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
- Welcome visitors and clients while maintaining a professional reception environment.
- Answer and direct incoming calls through the switchboard.
- Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate visitor access.
- Handle incoming mail, courier coordination, and office deliveries.
- Maintain visitor logs and reception documentation.
- Assist internal teams with administrative tasks and document preparation.
- Ensure the reception area remains organised and presentable.
- Coordinate communication between visitors and internal departments.
Desired Experience & Qualification

- Matric or equivalent qualification required.
- 1–3 years experience in a reception or front-office role.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
