Reception / Administrator – HALF DAY ONLY, Paarden Eiland

Do you have experience with the daily operations of a small warehouse and providing administrative support across all areas of the operation?

*PLEASE NOTE:  Half day only position
 
This role in Paarden Eiland involves managing the reception area, answering incoming calls, relaying messages, processing stock receipting, maintaining filing systems and assisting with the scheduling and coordination of deliveries.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric or related qualification
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Experience in Sage Accounting software advantageous
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
  • Basic understanding of invoicing and payment tracking
  • Clear and professional communication skills in English and Afrikaans required
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work through a structured workload
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage routine tasks consistently
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse-based environment
DUTIES
  • Assist with routine daily client communication and order-related queries
  • Capture customer orders and prepare invoices daily
  • Prepare and check documentation for deliveries and dispatch
  • Liaise with the warehouse team on administrative requirements
  • Collect and organise supplier invoices for month-end processing
  • Assist in monitoring payments and support with weekly stocktake
  • Follow up on overdue accounts in a professional manner
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes
Salary: R8,000 gross, negotiable dependent on experience.
