Receiving and Warehouse Supervisor
Our client is looking for an experienced Receiving & Raw Materials Warehouse Supervisor to lead the receiving, storage, inventory control and issuing of raw materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt of daily deliveries from suppliers and off-site warehouses, maintaining inventory integrity, supporting production requirements, and leading a high-performing warehouse team.
Qualification details:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Operations Management, or related field
- 5–8 years' warehouse experience
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
- FMCG, food manufacturing, cold chain, or distribution experience
- Experience managing high-value inventory and inventory control systems

- Manage all inbound raw material receipts from suppliers and off-site warehouses.
- Oversee storage, stock rotation, and inventory control across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouses.
- Ensure accurate stock transactions, traceability, and inventory integrity.
- Maintain material availability to support uninterrupted production.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and receiving personnel.
- Drive compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
- Manage cycle counts, stock audits, and variance investigations.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and Finance teams.
