Role Overview

Marvel Placement Consultants needs a Quantity Surveyor (Mining) who can step into a practical role in Mooi Nooi. A key part of the work involves Quantity Surveyor (Mining) Our client, a leading mining company and significant co-producer of Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) and chrome concentrates, is seeking an experienced Quant.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing the successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, contracts, procurement support, and commercial activities related to mining construction and infr.
Take ownership of Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the mining, EPCM, construction, or heavy industrial environment.
Support the team by managing experience working on mining infrastructure, plant, underground, or construction projects.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Quantity Surveyor (Mining).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

5 years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
