Our client, a leading electronics and electrical equipment supplier, seeks to employ a Quality Technician to join their progressive and expanding professional team.

Please note this role is ideally focused on candidates with a background in electrical or electronic components and ideally be resident in the Winelands region

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have a tertiary qualification in the Electronics or LC Electrical Engineering field, coupled with 2-3 years experience in quality control of work in progress and final goods, as well as management of ISO and compliance standards within the plant.
You will experience in change control management, supplier and materials quality control, quality document control, as well as equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure the highest quality standards
You will have excellent report writing skills, be able to communicate effectively to be able to ensure staff are well trained and adhere to the standards implemented, as well as provide non-conformance corrective action.
Knowledge of 5S Lean Manufacturing principals and be able to implement and ensure the plant is following th principals and achieve customer targets.
You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
