Role Overview

EVP Pyramid is recruiting for a Quality Control Supervisor in Pretoria. This role sits in Engineering, Manufacturing & Technical Trades and is suited to someone who can contribute with discipline, sound judgement and practical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

To Ensure Total Food Safety and Quality in the Product Produced in Eagles Valley Poultry Abattoir.
To Ensure that only apparently Healthy, physiologically normal birds are slaughtered for human consumption and that abnormal birds are separated and dealt with accordingly.
To Ensure that all areas are always maintained at the correct temperatures and that all products are handled packed and dispatched at the correct required temperatures.
To Ensure all products ready to be sent to customers are within the required standard weights.

Requirements

4 to 6 years supervisory experience in a poultry processing plant
Clear communication, good organisation and reliable follow-through.
A practical working style with attention to detail and service quality.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required.
