Project Lead – Tourism Industry

Our client, a well-established organisation within the tourism industry, is seeking a Project Lead to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Somerset West.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who can drive projects from planning through to successful delivery while working with multiple stakeholders.
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience

REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualification in Project Management, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading and coordinating projects.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience within the tourism, hospitality, or events industry will be advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.
DUTIES
- Lead and coordinate projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Facilitate meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
