Role Overview

Implats needs a Project Engineering Manager - Fixed Term (3yrs Contract) who can step into a practical role in Rustenburg. A key part of the work involves Fixed Term (3yrs Contract) To design, implement engineering standards and procedures, and responsible for overall management of the engineering functions within the Impala operatio.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing the Engineering Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of highly skilled while ensuring that objectives and goals are met.
Keep momentum on oversees engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect the operations.
Keep momentum on leads and coordinates various engineering functions and operations including quality assurance, testing, production, and research and development of new and existing prod.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Project Engineering Manager - Fixed Term (3yrs Contract).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Relevant experience in engineering or a closely related field.
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
