Project Engineer - Food & Beverage

Synopsis

An engineering consultancy focused on the food and beverage industry is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Process Projects team. The role manages multidisciplinary engineering projects from initial concept through final commissioning for local and international clients, with responsibility for project controls, quality and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from concept through to final commissioning.
• Prepare detailed project budgets.
• Develop and maintain construction programmes.
• Prepare and manage tender and contract documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project activity across engineering workstreams.
• Manage quality-control requirements throughout project delivery.
• Prepare regular project progress reports.
• Monitor project execution to support high-quality delivery at each stage.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant engineering and project experience.
• Experience managing engineering projects through multiple delivery stages.
• Ability to prepare budgets, construction programmes and project documentation.
• Understanding of tender and contract processes.
• Strong project coordination, quality-control and reporting capability.
• Experience in food and beverage engineering projects is directly relevant to the environment.
