Professional Architect – Pretoria East

Role Overview

A talented and motivated Candidate Architect with 1–2 years of professional experience is sought for an architectural team based in Pretoria. The role offers exposure to commercial (office and retail), residential and institutional projects, and further development of design and technical expertise in a collaborative environment. Projects span all phases of the building process, including concept design, development of construction drawings, site supervision and contract administration. The practice uses current technology and advanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to support efficient, accurate and high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to completion.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans and construction documentation using Revit.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and project coordination as required.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ practical experience within an architectural practice.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential.
• Strong design, technical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
