Production Technician - Biological Manufacturing

Role Overview

A biological manufacturing company is seeking a Production Technician to support laboratory and manufacturing operations, equipment, facility maintenance, inventory, and staff coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support production activities in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.
• Handle and measure materials accurately.
• Support microbial cultivation processes.
• Maintain production equipment and facilities.
• Manage inventory related to production activities.
• Assist with staff management and coordination.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Apply microbiology knowledge and mechanical aptitude to daily work.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years' experience as a Production Technician in a laboratory or manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and handling materials.
• Mechanical aptitude and organised record-keeping skills.
• Experience with microbial cultivation, equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, inventory management, and staff management.
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.
