Job Description

Our manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production planning, scheduling and workflow to ensure production requirements are met efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate production schedules and workflow
Determine manpower, equipment and raw material requirements
Monitor production progress, output and stock levels
Identify delays and adjust schedules to minimise disruption
Coordinate with Production, Quality Control and Warehouse
Conduct production meetings and track progress
Prepare production and performance reports

Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
Relevant qualification in Supply Chain or a related field will be advantageous
Strong production scheduling and planning skills
Experience with Sage Evolution
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
