Production Manager – Continuous Manufacturing

Role Overview

A Production Manager is required in Kempton Park to lead daily operations, optimise schedules, enforce quality and drive efficiency across manufacturing areas. Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, equipment performance and preventive maintenance.
• Lead and develop supervisors and operators, fostering a safety-first culture.
• Drive cost control, waste reduction and yield optimisation.
• Champion Lean and Six Sigma continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Analyse KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of production-management experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Continuous-manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Proven leadership in managing teams and assets.
• Flexibility to support 24/7 operations, including shifts, weekends and on-call requirements.
