Product & Contracting Executive - Johannesburg

Our client, a leading travel and tourism organisation, is seeking a dynamic Product & Contracting Executive to join their team in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially driven individual who enjoys negotiating, building strong relationships, developing travel products, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier negotiations, developing destination-specific products, maintaining key partnerships, and ensuring exceptional travel experiences for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and partners.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships.
• Research, develop, and manage travel products for specific destinations.
• Review, interpret, and manage commercial agreements, contracts, and service level agreements.
• Ensure products remain competitive and aligned with market trends.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement and new destination development.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Solve problems proactively and provide practical solutions.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel and work outside standard office hours when required.

Minimum Requirements & Skills:

• Previous experience in product development, contracting, travel, tourism, or a related commercial environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting contracts, commercial agreements, and SLAs.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
