Procurement and Operations Coordinator
Our client, a well-established and progressive supplier of production equipment and machinery, seeks to employ a professional, organized and experienced Procurement and Operations Coordinator, to support their progressive and expanding department.
Please note this is not a buyer role but rather a role of providing administrative and operational support to the production and technical teams. This is a multi-disciplined role and requires a candidate who has experience in imports and dealing with foreign procurement administration and procedures

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have Matric, coupled with 5 plus years experience in procurement administration (both local and foreign), opening/closing work orders, managing warranty claims on equipment received and returned, as well as invoicing and following up on debtors outstanding payments.
- You will have sound knowledge of dealing with freight forwarders, tracking shipments and liaising with customers on orders, as well as being the point of contact between the technical departments, sales and suppliers.
- Advanced Excel and expert ERP software skills are essential
- You will be able to function efficiently and effectively under pressure, be accurate and effective in problem solving.
- Your communication skills will be above average, with fluency in English being critical.
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
