Pricing Specialist (Seafreight)

A leading logistics company in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong freight forwarding pricing experience to play a key role in delivering competitive pricing solutions and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive seafreight pricing and estimates.
• Develop pricing solutions and strategies based on client requirements.
• Convert estimates into confirmed shipments.
• Maintain and manage pricing records and reports.
• Ensure KPI targets are achieved and reporting is completed accurately.
• Perform quality control on pricing and documentation.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external clients.
• Ensure compliance with company quality management systems.
• Support tender management and rate management activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with Mathematics.
• Relevant 3-year Import or Export qualification (NQF Level 5).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in multimodal freight forwarding estimates/pricing.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and clearing documentation, procedures, and practices.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
