Role Overview

North-West University is hiring a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Corporate Law in Potchefstroom. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused advertising team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing join the Corporate Law Research Niche under the Mentorship /Supervision of Prof Kathleen van der Linde as a Fulltime Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Law, North-West.
Take ownership of Niche Field: Corporate Law (Corporate Finance Law, Corporate Insolvency and Restructuring Law, Securities Law) Desired Experience & Qualification.
Take ownership of LLD/PHD in Corporate Law; at least 2 published academic journal articles or book chapters or conference proceedings.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Corporate Law.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

1 years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
