Plumber

Synopsis

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber to install, maintain and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial and industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, practical problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install and repair pipes, taps, toilets, drains and water systems.
2. Diagnose and fix leaks, blockages and plumbing faults.
3. Maintain hot-water systems, including geysers, where qualified.
4. Inspect plumbing installations to identify potential problems.
5. Read technical drawings and plumbing plans.
6. Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing regulations and safety standards.
7. Communicate with clients and provide updates on repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

1. Relevant plumbing qualification, trade test or apprenticeship experience.
2. Previous plumbing experience is advantageous.
3. Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools and materials.
4. Understanding of relevant building regulations and safety procedures.
5. Valid driver's licence is beneficial for site-based work.
6. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
