Role Overview

Competent Candidates needs a PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR who can step into a practical role in Cape Town. A key part of the work involves PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR Relevant diploma or Bachelor's degree, or ongoing studies in Business Administration, Financial Planning, Investment Management, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing experience in a LISP or investment administration environment is advantageous but not essential.
Support the team by managing capture new investment contracts and transfer instructions onto the platform accurately and timeously.
Support the team by managing basic understanding of investment administration (advantageous but not required).
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of investment work.
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
