Plant Process Coordinator - Water Treatment

The Opportunity

Oversee and optimise water-treatment plant operations in Cape Town. The role requires advanced technical expertise, supervisory experience and a strong background in wastewater-treatment and MBR plant processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant process operations and support reliable wastewater-treatment performance.
• Apply technical troubleshooting capability to process and plant issues.
• Supervise operating activities and maintain effective process control.
• Work with integrated SCADA systems and resolve operating issues.
• Maintain safe, compliant and efficient plant operations.

Requirements

• DWS Class V Process Controller registration is essential.
• At least 6 years of relevant wastewater-treatment and MBR plant operating experience.
• At least 2 years at supervisory level.
• Degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent or higher qualification.
• Strong integrated SCADA knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
