Planning Engineer / Project Planner - Renewable Energy

Role Overview

A global engineering company focused on solar projects and large-scale renewable-energy infrastructure is seeking a Planning Engineer for a project-based contract in Postmasburg, Northern Cape, until November 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project schedule.
• Plan engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Set milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Track progress against the baseline programme.
• Produce progress reports and forecasts.

Requirements

• Relevant Engineering degree or similar qualification.
• Strong project-planning experience on large renewable-energy projects, ideally solar.
• Planning-software experience such as Primavera or MS Project.
• PV, BESS, power, or infrastructure experience.
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
• Willingness to relocate to Postmasburg and pass a site medical.
