Pharmacy Manager - Clicks Kokstad

Introduction

Lead a Clicks Pharmacy team in Kokstad to deliver high standards of patient care and service excellence. The Pharmacy Manager reports to the Area Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care, accurate and safe dispensing, generic substitution, and advice within good pharmacy practice and the legal scope of practice.
  • Manage dispensary operations, stock, shrinkage, housekeeping, administration, merchandising, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain operational viability through financial management, target delivery, expense control, and corrective action.
  • Select, lead, motivate, and develop employees, learners, and interns.
  • Schedule staff appropriately and ensure time, attendance, and employee records are complete.
  • Drive customer-service initiatives, loyalty, and participation targets.
  • Integrate pharmacy, clinic, healthcare aisle, and store operations to provide a complete healthcare offering.
  • Drive company values, team cohesion, and a high-performing culture focused on customer satisfaction and business value.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Registered Pharmacist with SAPC registration as the Responsible Pharmacist.
  • Minimum two years' experience after community service.
  • Minimum one year of people-management experience.
  • Retail pharmacy and Unisolve experience are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SAPC and legal requirements, ethical practice, stock, cost, risk, compliance, patient care, counselling, labour legislation, financial management, and competency-based interviewing.
  • Managerial, tutoring, coaching, planning, organising, problem-solving, customer-service, interpersonal, computer-literacy, and financial skills.
