Pharmacist - Clicks Heidedal

Introduction

Lead the efficient operation of the Heidedal dispensary in Bloemfontein and deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, service excellence, compliance, and customer experience.

Job Objectives

• Provide accurate and safe dispensing, generic substitution, and advice in line with good pharmacy practice and the legal scope of practice.
• Execute dispensary operations, including responsible stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, administration, merchandising, and SAPC compliance.
• Maintain operational viability through core dispensary and clinic targets.
• Oversee training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns when required.
• Deliver customer-service initiatives, build customer loyalty, and support club-card participation.
• Maintain relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres.
• Integrate the pharmacy with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide a complete healthcare offering.

Experience & Skills

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC registration.
• Retail pharmacy and Unisolve experience are desirable.
• Knowledge of SAPC and legal requirements, ethical practice, stock, cost, risk, compliance, patient care, and counselling.
• Tutorship, coaching, planning, organising, problem-solving, customer-service, computer-literacy, and financial skills.
• Results-driven, commercially aware, and able to work with people under pressure.
