Personal Lines Underwriter

We are looking for a Personal lines Underwriter to join our team

Location: Parktown

Key requirement

• At least 2 years of experience in personal lines within the short-term industry and a strong background in broker office operations
• Matric is required and full FAIS compliance
• DOFA confirmation with FSCA
• Negotiation abilities with a client-focused approach
• Know and apply standard personal wording for short-term policies and be comfortable working digitally
• Available on the overtime group and able to work on a diary system
• Basic Excel and various insurer's systems

Key responsibility

• Work digitally, including filling and handling emails
• Well organized, quick, accurate and able to meet deadlines
• Obtain information needed to get new business quotes or rebroke
