Payroll Officer

About the Role

Process accurate monthly payroll and maintain compliant payroll records for a multi-site employer.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture earnings, deductions and employee changes
• Reconcile payroll inputs, reports and payment schedules
• Prepare statutory submissions and employee tax documents
• Resolve payroll queries within agreed turnaround times

Requirements

• Payroll or accounting qualification
• At least 3 years of end-to-end payroll experience
• Experience with a recognised South African payroll system
• Knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and payroll legislation
• Advanced accuracy, reconciliation and confidentiality skills
