Synopsis

A Cape Town operation working closely with a UK leadership team is looking for an Operations Manager to take full accountability for its South African operation. The role manages multiple teams and priorities, makes operational and commercial decisions and ensures local delivery remains aligned with wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Take full operational accountability for the South African business operation.
Lead multiple teams and manage competing operational priorities.
Make day-to-day operational and commercial decisions with a high degree of autonomy.
Work closely with UK-based operations leadership and wider business stakeholders.
Drive performance standards and accountability across teams.
Identify and implement continuous-improvement opportunities.
Ensure local operations remain aligned with broader business objectives.
Maintain a strong focus on customer outcomes and service standards.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Proven experience managing operational teams and multiple workstreams.
Ability to make operational and commercial decisions independently.
Strong people-management and performance-management capability.
Experience working with senior stakeholders across different locations or markets.
Demonstrated focus on operational standards, continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
