Operations Logistics Supervisor
Are you a hands-on operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-depot environment?
Our client in Ceres is looking for a practical problem-solver to take ownership of daily stock deliveries, fleet coordination and leading on-site and off-site delivery teams.
This is a role for a strong leader who is comfortable being on the ground, managing multiple delivery and collection schedules and making clear decisions under pressure.
REQUIREMENTS
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience

REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, or related qualification
- BCom Supply Chain / Logistics
- 2 years’ experience in a related role
- Must reside in Ceres or be willing to relocate due to the nature of the role and industry
- Strong computer literacy – Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Able to manage off-site teams effectively
- Experience in operations management or project management
- Valid driver’s license
- Adaptable and flexible to work extended hours
- Ability to work under pressure and handle after-hours crises
- Strong people, leadership and fleet management skills
- Good planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Accountability and decision-making ability
- Leadership and team coordination
- Customer service orientated
- Practical, hands-on management style within a fast-paced industry
- Manage day-to-day operations of sanitation and facilities rental units at events and sites
- Plan and optimize service routes and schedules
- Supervise drivers, technicians and yard staff
- Oversee fleet, equipment and pump unit maintenance
- Asset Management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Monitor service quality and resolve client issues promptly
- Manage stocks (chemical, consumables, spare parts)
- Control operational costs and improve efficiency
- Liaise with clients, municipalities and suppliers
- Assist with staff training, performance management and discipline
