MECS is hiring a Operational Readiness Lead (Greenfields/Brownfields Mining Operations) – Bryanston/Zimbabwe in Gauteng - Jhb Northern Suburbs. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused mining team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Minimum 15+ years' experience within mining, minerals processing, heavy industrial, or large capital projects.
Take ownership of Large-scale mining project approaching operational transition.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Operational Readiness Lead (Greenfields/Brownfields Mining Operations) – Bryanston/Zimbabwe.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.

Requirements

15+ years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
