Synopsis

Our client in manufacturing industry, requires an Online Sales Representative to process orders received through online platforms, respond to customer enquiries, build customer relationships, and achieve sales targets through digital communication channels such as email, website enquiries, social media, WhatsApp, and online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

Respond promptly to customer enquiries via email, WhatsApp, website chat, social media, and online marketplaces.
Provide accurate product information, quotations, pricing, and availability.
Convert enquiries into confirmed sales orders.
Follow up on leads and abandoned quotations to secure business.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Order Processing

Capture and process customer orders accurately on the company system.
Ensure and is responsible for accurate payment details with Accounts.
Confirm payment, delivery details, and order status with customer.
Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor outstanding orders and update customers on progress.
Responsible for Internal Branch Transfers.

Digital Sales Activities

Promote products through approved channels.
Assist with updating product listings, promotions, and online catalogues.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell related products.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications
Grade 12 / Matric.
Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or E-Commerce qualification (advantageous).
2–3 years’ experience in sales, customer service, telesales, or online sales.
Experience working with Acumatica systems, online ordering platforms, or e-commerce environments is advantageous.

Technical Skills

MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Email and online communication tools.
