A growing player in the Renewable Energy industry is seeking a dependable and technically strong individual, preferably with an Electrical Engineering background, to provide critical support across Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Business Development functions. Based in Sandton, this hybrid position offers a balanced work-life approach.
Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate relationships with external O&M contractors and service providers.
Monitor contractor performance, schedules, and service level agreements.
Prepare operational and performance reports, including system efficiency and downtime analysis.
Review technical documentation, compliance requirements, and engineering specifications.
Support business development activities by assisting with tenders, bids, and proposal documentation.
Assess technical capabilities and compliance standards of suppliers and vendors.
Ensure contractor outputs align with operational and engineering requirements.
Requirements
Desired Experience & Qualification
Engineering qualification (NDip, BTech or BSc), preferably in Electrical Engineering.
Strong background in contractor management, technical administration, project support, or O&M environments.
Ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams and technical specifications.
Experience compiling technical and operational reports.
Understanding of engineering compliance standards and contractor oversight.
Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Interest in contributing to South Africa's renewable energy growth.
