Office Administrative Assistant – Somerset West

REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, or related qualification
- 3 years’ experience in administration
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Afrikaans will be preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Canva is a bonus
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Order Management
- Place orders with various suppliers via email and CRM program
- Acknowledge and confirm receipt of orders with clients
- Record order details in the Daily Order list, including delivery dates and reference numbers
- Verify orders for accuracy (correct supplier, MOQ, pricing) and inform clients
- Follow up on delivery dates and update clients accordingly
- Send reminders to clients regarding amended purchase orders
- Track pending orders, address delivery delays, and provide client updates
- Create advertisements for various suppliers and clients
- Organise and maintain Shared Drive filing systems
- Arrange courier services as needed
- Assist with other ad hoc administrative tasks
