Nursing Practitioner - Clicks Southway Mall

Introduction

Provide professional, commercially viable, and quality clinic services for the Southway Mall operation in Durban, in compliance with South African Nursing Council regulations and company standards.

Clinic Responsibilities

• Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelines.
• Provide lifestyle-management screening tests and conduct Well Baby clinics, including immunisations and baby-health monitoring.
• Offer reproductive-health services, adult immunisations, primary healthcare, minor-ailment and wound care services.
• Render phlebotomy services and compile professional, stock, and financial-management reports.
• Manage medical waste, safety precautions, adverse events, and emergencies.
• Counsel patients on health information and weight management and refer them to appropriate health professionals.
• Plan Health Days, develop health-professional networks, and arrange locums.

Qualifications & Experience

• Registration as a Professional Nurse.
• Three-year nursing diploma or four-year nursing degree.
• At least three years’ practical experience across a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably community health, primary health, and midwifery.
• Unisolv and Allegra experience is preferable.
• MS Office skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Maintain secure and accurate patient information, clinic administration, stock controls, cold-chain monitoring, SANC registration, and professional indemnity.
