Our client in Parow South requires a friendly front of house receptionist to engage with doctors, patients and medical aids, while managing the day-to-day demands of a busy healthcare practice.
Experience in the medical sector is highly advantageous, but not essential.

REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, or related qualification
- 5+ years of experience in an front office administrative role
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Experience using GoodX or similar medical practice management software
- Knowledge of medical aid procedures and authorisation processes
- Understanding of COID / WCA administration processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Handle confidential patient information responsibly
DUTIES
- Welcome patients and process consent documentation
- Create patient file and save documents (WCA/COID and private patients)
- Follow up on outstanding documents
- Import information received from the doctor and other documents on Goodx
- Check and explain medical aid benefits
- Check ICD 10 or PMB conditions, and sign patient forms
- Create patient file on Goodx
- Process payments and issue a receipt
- Do rehab reports from Goodx once a month
- Upload bills on COIDLINK
- Reschedule appointments when necessary
- Manage emails and schedule theatre list appointments
- Manage office supplies and stationery
