Role Overview

An industrial refrigeration manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead reliable, safe, and cost-effective maintenance operations in Johannesburg South.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and installations.
• Supervise corrective maintenance and ensure timely, cost-effective execution to minimise production downtime.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment for maintenance personnel.
• Approve spare-parts and maintenance-supply requirements and maintain stock availability.
• Prepare and monitor operational and capital expenditure budgets for the maintenance department.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a similar supervisory maintenance role.
• Strong preventive and corrective maintenance planning capability.
• Experience with maintenance budgets, safety compliance, spare parts, and industrial machinery.
