Maintenance Coordinator

Role Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator for a packhouse in the Piketberg area, Western Cape. The role reports to the Packhouse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff in the packhouse.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment.
• Report and repair any breakdowns.
• Perform daily inspections.
• Perform general building maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Relevant N3 Fitter or Electrician, or NQF4 Fitter or Electrician qualification.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Willing to work irregular or night shifts and long hours as required in the packing industry.
• Oversee the storage and handling of table grapes and citrus.
• Cold-room maintenance experience is advantageous.
