Machine Operator / Wrapper

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator / Wrapper who is also willing and able to perform wrapping and packaging duties when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating production/manufacturing machinery.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG will be advantageous.
• Experience in wrapping or packaging products.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Good understanding of production processes.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery.
• Perform machine start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal production.
• Identify and report machine faults or production issues.
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks.
• Ensure production targets are met.
• Wrap and package finished products according to company standards.
• Inspect products for quality before packaging.
• Label and prepare products for dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness of packaging stations.
• Ensure correct product quantities and packaging specifications.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
• Comply with company health and safety regulations.
