Our international client is seeking an experienced and driven Logistics Manager to join their fast-paced automotive environment. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring vehicles and parts are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

Matric
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management or related qualification
Minimum 5 years’ shipping and logistics management experience within the automotive industry
Previous leadership or management experience
Strong understanding of import/export procedures and freight operations
Advanced Microsoft Excel and computer literacy
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectivel

Key Responsibilities:

Manage vehicle order placement, supply control, and pipeline management
Coordinate imports and exports, including sea and airfreight shipments
Liaise with freight agents, customs, carriers, inspection companies, and internal stakeholders
Oversee cross-border export processes and related documentation
Manage vehicle allocations, distribution, and third-party logistics providers
Monitor logistics performance, damages, claims, and stock control processes
Support the sales team with logistics planning and delivery coordination
Lead and oversee logistics support staff and service providers
Ensure reporting accuracy and adherence to operational deadlines
